Spurs are ‘very close to signing’ 22-year-old (23 in August) Hoffenheim right-back Jeremy Toljan as Benfica drop out of the race according to Portuguese newspaper Record.Roma are said to be considering a bid too, Chelsea are listed as interested, as are Napoli. With his contract ending in 2018, the versatile defender should be available at a sensible price and Record believe Benfica have pulled out of the race for him because of us. We'll see what develops.
