Just in time for Oscar night, the most hypocritical night of the year, a beautiful sculpture of Harvey Weinstein sitting on a "rapey couch" by the artists Plastic Jesus & Joshua Monroe has appeared in Hollywood. 

It is located appropriately just beyond the "The Four Silver Ladies of Hollywood," a sculpture featuring four scantily-clad women. Titled "Casting Couch," it is an all-too-obvious reference to the casting couch culture of Hollywood, which routinely enforces sexual degredation as the price of entry into the movie business for young actresses, most of whom are just tossed aside with their broken dreams anyway. 

Expect the sleazebags of Hollywood to "morally signal" particularly hard tonight as they strive to maintain the cultural and social power that underwrites their sybaritic lifestyles.
