A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of causing injury by dangerous driving after four pedestrians were ploughed down by a car in the early hours on Sunday. 

Footage shows a crowd of people screaming as a Blue Ford C Max rams into them outside  

The Courtyard nightclub in Newport, south Wales. Injured people can then be seen lying on the floor as the car fled the scene on Cambrian Road at 5.30am. 

Two women are reported to have sustained potentially life-changing injuries from the crash, as the other two victims – a man and woman – are also being treated in hospital.
