Eritrean President To Visit Amhara Region in Ethiopia

Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki will visit the Amhara regional state this week.

The President will visit Gondar and Bahir Dar cities beginning from Friday.

The President will be received by Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed and high level officials of Amhara regional officials.

His visit will cement the relations between the two countries.

A delegation from the Amhara regional state visited Eritrea last September.

During the visit, the delegation met with President Isaias and other senior Eritrean government officials.
