London Police Arrest Black Christian and Take His Bible for Preaching “Jesus Is On the Way”; Accuse Him of Racism and Islamophobia

A Christian preacher this afternoon was arrested at Southgate station London N14 for preaching about Jesus . @CConcern the police told him it’s because public had said he was being islamophobic . The preacher, a black man who is reportedly Nigerian, is seen being confronted by police who order him to leave. The man, who is holding a Bible, tells the two officers he will not leave as people must know that “Jesus is on the way.” 

One of the officers tells the man, “nobody wants to listen to that, they want you to go away.” 

The preacher tells the officer, “You will listen when you’re dead.” 

The officer moves to handcuff the man while the other officer rips the Bible from the preacher’s hand. When the preacher pleads, “Do not take my Bible,” the officer tells him, “You should have thought of that before being racist.” 

Eye on Antisemitism tweeted further information on the incident, saying they had it all on video and that they stopped a Muslim man from attacking the preacher. 

They added on Sunday that Christian Concern had lawyers now helping the preacher. 

“Have the full video I stopped a Muslim guy from hitting him ! Stopped it getting nasty” 

“I was there I can say this man was preaching and did nothing wrong had a hostile person near him . He was a bit loud .. but”

“The worst part of it was that when he was arrested and the preacher said please don’t take my Bible, the other policeman said well then you should’ve thought of that before you were racist?!!!” 

“There was no islamophobia in the whole debate however the Muslim said his (the preachers ) bible was shit”
